“I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny. And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.” ~Coco Chanel

Annie Hall Electric…
Bumped into Colombian-born food stylist Mariana Velasquez at The Butcher’s Daughter in NoLita. It’s clear she can make more than the contents of a grocery list look good. Her outfit is quality Spring/Summer 2013 from her cobalt blue trousers to her flourescent work bag. The best part of her outfit is the detail under her vest. Instead of a top she’s wearing a Sukico cut-out bra. So much better than a tank or cami!
Also on Mariana…
Bag: Bohemia
Pants: Alice & Olivia
Vest: H&M
Shoes: Troupe
Jacket: Zara
Bracelet: Paula Mendoza Jewelry
